The GL3220 is an extreme high speed USB 3.0 card controkker which inregrate a 8051 microprocessor and a high efficiency hardwave engine for the bedt data transfer performance, between USB and various memory card interfaces, such as CompactFlash(TM), Micro Drive, MemoryStick(TM), Memory Stick Pro(TM), Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo(TM), Secure Digital(TM), MultiMedia Card(TM) and xD-Picture Card(TM). Inside the chip, its embedded 5V to 3.3V and 3.3V to 1.2V regulators, on-board 25 MHz Crystal driver circuit and power MOSFETs could effectively reduce the total BOM cost. With the support of ISP (In System Programming) function, the firmware from the external SPI Flash could be easily executed via USB port which provides the flexibility to store customize setting and to set various configurations by the request from different customers.
