1 Description
Vision X115 is Agere Systems' next-generation multimedia mobile platform for GSM/GPRS/EDGE digital cellular phones. It includes a digital baseband IC (DBB), an analog baseband IC (ABB), L3AMI software, protocol stack, and DSP/Layer 1 firmware. Vision X115 is targeted for mid tier phones that include advanced multimedia features. The Vision X115 DBB is a complete digital baseband IC for wireless terminals. This document corresponds to the DBB device codemarked DVX115B. It features a communications processor to host the protocol stack, an applications processor for multimedia, and a Layer 1 processor for Layer 1 and audio signal processing.
