The PIC16C92X (Rev. A0) parts you have received
conform functionally to the PIC16C92X data sheet
(DS30444A), except for the anomalies described
below.
All the problems listed here will be addressed in the
production revision of the PIC16C92X silicon.
1. When the A/D converter on the PIC16C924 is
disabled with all PORTA pins congured as dig-
ital I/O, the PIC16C924 will experience higher
than expected IPD currents (typically 300 A).
2. At higher VDD voltages, typically >4.0V, the LCD
charge pump may cause “ghosting” to occur on
the LCD panel.
Work-around:
A 100k load resistor can be connected between
the VLCD2 pin
