Adjustable Hysteresis in Microprocessor-Reset ICs

Abstract:The amount of hysteresis needed in an application can vary and depends on many factors. This simple circuit lets you
adjust the otherwise fixed hysteresis (the voltage difference between rising and falling thresholds on VCC) that governs the operation
of a 3-pin microprocessor-reset IC.
