MDF is a file system library for embedded device systems. Using the MDF allows data in the target
embedded device to be managed in the same file/directory format as data in the personal computer (PC),
helping pass data between the PC and the embedded device.
This manual describes the work to use the MDF provided in the library format, in various embedded
systems.
To create drivers required for application development and implementation, the user needs the basic
knowledge on file systems, FAT file systems, exFAT file systems (called "exFAT" hereafter), and the target
media.
This manual assumes that the user is acquainted with the basics of Windows XP and the C language
specification.
