Introduction
This paper can be used as design guide of a flyback converter for monitors power supply.
The high performance PWM controller L4990 is being used to meet new spec requirements
for monitors power supply. The basic requirements of a monitor power supply are listed
below:
● high output power range up to 120W, with universal mains voltage
● synchronisation up to 100kHz
