The MB86977 is a device used for ASSP network control, and it transfers data with IP packets
and performs filtering functions, thereby decreasing load on CPUs and enabling data transfer at
wire speed.
Installed with the super IP forwarding engine, the MB86977 enables users to easily install
security functions and create a demilitarized zone (DMZ) for IP packet transfer at wire speed
and a constant connection to the Internet.
The MB86977 is suitable for devices for which excellent data transfer performance is required in
a broadband environment. This is because the packets that have to be processed in real time
have processing priority in the MB86977.
Corporate names revised in the documents
