s Purpose and Readers Intended
The F2MC-8L family is a line of proprietary 8-bit, single-chip microcontrollers that are
configurable as ASICs (application-specific integrated circuits) and capable of operating at low
voltage.
This manual is intended for engineers who develop products using the F2MC-8L family of
microcontrollers. It describes application programs based on the MB89160/160A series. You
should run through this manual if you write application programs for the F2MC-8L family.
