Term Denition
Padstack Binary files that define the geometry of the pads to be used in the
physical part (package symbol). They also define the drill size and
figure to be used for the drill drawing.
Package symbol Physical parts (thru-hole or surface-mount components)
Mechanical Standard card outlines or mounting holes
