AMBA AXI 4 Interconnect Protocol
AMBA AXI4 (Advanced Extensible Interface 4) is the fourth generation of AMBA interface defined and
controlled by ARM. It is an interface definition defined for high-performance systems and designs. AXI4 is
being adopted by Xilinx as our next-generation interconnect specification for FPGA design and will
shortly be available for use with the Spartan-6 and Virtex-6 family of devices.
