摘要
摘要：上海是我国长江经济带的龙头和长江三角洲的发展前缘，其区位的优势和快速的
发展，对GIS信息库的建设提出了特大城市化的要求。
本文指出了如今GIS的误区，即采用含有少量信息的地形图作为GIS基本平台。并提出了
以RS信息为主的地理信息系统--
RGIS，RGIS采用RS技术捕捉城市的面貌，直接以高分辨率的遥感影像作为GIS基础平台，
建立一个大比例尺的航空和航天遥感信息场，使得城市管理者和建设者有一个能在计算
机上就能看到全市综合特征的信息库，即综合信息场。
RGIS不仅适用于上海这样的特大城市，也适用于各省大、中、小城市。
