BCSP IntroductionBCSP Introduction

This file contains a full description of CSR’s BlueCoreTM Serial Protocol (BCSP), including a full specification and example (source) files of real implementations. CSR developed an alternative and highly reliable physical link to the UART host transports defined in the Bluetooth 1.1 specification. BCSP is used to control and format information that flows between a Bluetooth host and a Bluetooth host controller. HCI commands, events and data are carried by BCSP over a UART link connecting BlueCore to its host application.
