hot topic but market still relatively small A GPS (Global Positioning System) is a rapidly growing market. According to
Gartner Dataquest, shipment of PNDs (personal navigating devices) will grow at 43% CAGR in 2006-10 with volume increasing to 47mn units by 2010 from 11mn units in 2006. Though this volume is comparatively small vis-à-vis other electronic products, investors have been asking who the likely beneficiaries in the semiconductor space are. We share our thoughts in this report.
