accompanyingresults,followedbyatechniqueusedforcalculatingoverallsystem
performanceoroverhead.Tohelpdesignersbetteranalyzetheirsystemperformance,we
havedetailedthemethodologyusedforobtainingeachofthebenchmarksalongwiththe
numberofCPUcyclestoexecuteeachoftheDSP/BIOSIIfunctions.Thedesignerscanthen
computethesumofthesecomponentsandthefrequencyofoccurrencetodeterminethe
totalsystemperformancefortheirapplication.
