Abstract： Policy Routing is an important function of embedded network products，but,fits山e first choice of embedded development，Vxworks operation system has not realized this function．Principle of Policy Routing and the original packet forwarding mechanism of Vxworks IP protocol stack are analyzed，modified packet forwarding mechanism after adding Policy Routing is proposed，and its prototype under Vxworks IP protocol stack is implemented． Keywords：Policy Routing，Vxworks，rule，action，prototype realization
