Antenna Performance Standard
1 OTA 3D Performance
The OTA 3D Performance test result is generally considered as the most
important TX &
RX characteristic for mobile devices. Thus any antenna without TRP&TIS test
report
shall not be accepted.
Antenna vendor without 3D chamber must test the TX&RX from different
positions & angles as many as possible in order to simulate TRP&TIS by
linear calculation.
By the suggestion of CTIA, at least 6 theta-cuts must be tested (T0,
T30…T150). Each
theta test data contains 4 phi-cuts (0, 90, 180, and 270).

1.1.1 TRP value
The Total Radiated Power emitted by MS shall be no less than the levels in
table1.1 under max Power Control Level.
