Abstract
System integration is one of the market driving issues in power electronics. In this paper the integra-
tion of precise shunts and complete A/D-conversion units with isolating interface into IGBT modules is
demonstrated. It also provides a comparison to the often used solutions based on Hall effect sensors
and additional A/D-converter chip sets. Both systems are compared based on inverter output current
measurement.
