DS1867 Power Supply Conditioning for EEPROM Wiper Storage
Abstract: The DS1867 is a digital potentiometer that uses EEPROM memory to store potentiometer settings
when the device is powered off. The write process to the device occurs during the power-down cycle so that the
device "remembers" it's last potentiometer setting during the next power-up cycle. The process of writing
EEPROM takes a minimum amount of time, which can often be longer than power is available to the device
during power-down in some applications. If this is the case, external circuitry is required to supply power during
