78Q8430 Layout Guidelines

Introduction
The TSC 78Q8430 is a single chip 10Base-T/100Base-TX capable Fast Ethernet Media Access Controller (MAC)
and Physical Layer (PHY) transceiver. The PHY includes an analog front end which requires special
considerations for PCB layout.

This document provides the PCB layout recommendations
