announced the formation of the Wireless USB Promoter

Group. Focused on delivering the first high-speed personal

wireless interconnect, the group includes Agere Systems, HP,

Intel, Microsoft Corporation, NEC, Philips Semiconductors,

and Samsung Electronics.
