This application report describes the implementation of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU)-T H.263 decoder on the TMS320C6000E DSP. The H.263 encoder does not, at the time of print, meet all of the baseline requirements to be TMS320E DSP Algorithm Standard compliant; future revisions, however, will be fully eXpressDSPE compliant. The following document describes the basics of the standard, and proceeds to more technical aspects of the software.
