The WM8753L integrates Hi-Fi stereo and voice CODEC functionality in a fully integrated audio solution for multimedia mobile phones. The WM9713L offers similar functionality, with the addition of a resistive touchpanel digitiser and an AC’97 audio interface.

Digital Still and Video Cameras
From the single channel WM8974 to the full-stereo WM8978, the WM897x family of audio CODECs covers the various audio requirements of digital video and still cameras. Each device features integrated digital equalisation, headphone and speaker ampliers, and differential microphone inputs. The WM8980 also features a video buffer for direct connection to a TV set.
