MEASURING ACPR IN CDMA AMPLIFIERS

djacent-channel power ratio (ACPR) testing is commonly used in the wireless communications industry to characterize the distortion performance of CDMA amplifiers. Related to spectral regrowth, ACPR is a measure of the intermodulation distortion that appears in the signal sidebands. It is analogous to third-order intercept measurements used to characterize narrowband amplifiers. Two alternative spectrum analyzer methods are used to make the industry-standard ACPR measurement: the resolution bandwidth (RBW) and integration bandwidth (IBW) methods.
