INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this document is to describe the test setups and procedures used to perform selected transmitter and receiver tests from the GSM11.10-1 specification. This document is intended to describe a subset of RF tests to establish an acceptable level of performance for a dual-band radio, in preparation for Type Approval (TA) testing. The tests described in this document is not a complete list of tests to achieve Type Approval (TA) certification. The document includes both GSM900 and DCS1800 specifications and testing.
