Outline: Capacity of MIMO Channels: We discuss the information theoretic bases for the capacity arguments of MIMO channels and present fundamental results and methods. Channel Modeling and Realizable Capacity: We discuss simple ray-tracing channel models and study the capacity of these articially generated channels. Basic conclusions on the behavior of real-world MIMO channels are drawn.
