Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran P.O.Box:14115-111 Abstract - In this paper, a simple compact design of a dual-polarized aperture-coupled patch antenna, suitable for GSM900 (890-960 MHz) base station antenna is presented. The proposed antenna has a stacked square radiating patch, which is only about 0.74 times that ofthe conventional design using simple stacked patch on the same substrate. The simulated results from IE3D simulation software shows that the bandwidth for return loss <-14 dB (SWR<1.5) covers whole GSM900 band and port decoupling is less than -30
